The State Training Board (STB) has established a Youth Engagement Project to identify strategies and make recommendations to the Minister for Education and Training on how to encourage more young people to take up vocational education and training (VET).
STB is seeking input from people aged 18 – 24 and ask for nominations from young people with VET qualifications to join their youth round table discussions in October and November.
Those wishing to nominate for the Professional, Scientific and Technical Services category are requested to send their expression of interest to ostb@dtwd.wa.gov.au including:
• category (Professional, Scientific and Technical Services)
• a brief background, and
• VET qualifications (either attained or currently being undertaken)
Nominations close this Friday 17 September 2021.
