Prison Officer training in country WA to bolster regional recruitment

The Department of Justice will host Prison Officer training courses in Albany, Geraldton and Kalgoorlie Boulder in 2024 allowing community members to start a career without leaving their hometown. The 12-week paid program was traditionally held in Perth with participants returning to their respective local communities upon completion. Read more in the media statement here.
