Brokering effective representation on training-related matters

Financial, Administrative & Professional Services Training Council advocates for quality training to meet industry-specific needs and a skilled and flexible workforce.

Engagement with industry stakeholders allows us to identify the skills and workforce development priorities within specific industry areas and develop a comprehensive whole of industry approach to sustainable training and capability building of workers. It provides a platform to explore innovative, flexible training and skilling solutions.

We broker effective representation on training-related matters, including the development and review of National Training Packages and curriculum to ensure qualifications and training meet industry needs. Part of our role is to monitor and review the quality of training delivery and assessment across the Training Packages within our portfolio. This includes delivery of qualifications to secondary school students.

Our aim is to ensure the skills and knowledge required to perform effectively in the workplace is met by the vocational education and training sector through National Training Packages, accredited courses and skill sets.
