A new Student Council is to be formed to represent the voices of more than 300,000 public school students in WA. Currently in the planning and consultation phase, from term 2 next year 20 public school students from across the state will form a group of student councillors and inform the Education and Training Minister on school issues. Students will offer their views to the Minister on education policy and reform, and represent the interests of all public school students in WA.
