After a review into mandatory CPD in the Real Estate sector was launched earlier in the year, REIWA has reported that CPD for Real Estate Agents will continue in its current format in 2024. It is further reported that should any changes be announced, they will take effect in 2025.
In an interview with REIWA, the Minister for Commerce, Hon. Sue Ellery stated that “Mandatory CPD protects the professionalism of the industry. Industry wants to be able to say to customers, you can trust us with one of the biggest financial decisions you’ll make in your life because we are required to keep up to date, and we are up to date because we’ve done the training.” For further information read more from REIWA here.
