The national regulator for training, ASQA (Australian Skills Quality Authority), has raised concern about the enrolment, delivery, and assessment of Certificates IV in Real Estate Practice (CPP41419) and Strata Community Management (CPP40521), and the Diploma of Property (Agency Management) (CPP51122), based on stakeholder reports.
Industry and regulators have also highlighted a lack of information about legal and licencing requirements being provided by RTOs to graduates applying to become licenced real estate agents.
ASQA has indicated it may undertake performance assessments or audits of RTOs where potentially poor practices have been flagged.
