In WA’s real estate sector, the global trend of the 4-day work week has been implemented by the Albany-based office of First National Bairstow Kerr. This real estate business offers its office-based administrative and property management staff to work reduced hours over the course of the week, claiming that it has not compromised productivity.
This is corroborated by an Australian Senate Select Committee on Work and Care supporting the notion of a national 4-day work week trial, as well as a global survey of 2,000 professionals conducted by recruitment firm Rober Walters indicating that 90 percent of respondents support the 4-day work week.
