Two out of three Australian workers say they will join or stay with a company only if they offer remote or hybrid work, new research reveals. Mercer’s global talent trends 2022 report found that a third of workers are prepared to sacrifice a pay rise this year in return for the ability to work a fully flexible or compressed work schedule.
A report from PwC Australia focuses on knowledge-based workers, otherwise known as office, desk, or remote workers. These individuals occupy roles that can be performed in part or entirely remotely. The report concludes that hybrid working is here to stay and looks at how organisations can strike the right balance of time in the office and working remotely (whether that’s at home or somewhere else).
