The 2022 LinkedIn Top Companies list is the 6th annual ranking of the 25 best workplaces to grow your career. Companies were ranked using LinkedIn data across seven areas shown to lead to career progression:
- Ability to advance – employee promotions within a company
- Skills growth – how employees are gaining skills while employed
- Company stability – attrition over the past three years
- External opportunity – recruiter outreach across employees
- Company affinity – how supportive a company’s culture is
- Gender diversity – gender parity within a company
- Spread of educational backgrounds – reflecting a commitment to recruiting a wide range of professionals
To be considered, companies had to have at least 500 employees as of 31 December 2021. All staffing and recruiting firms, educational institutions and government agencies were excluded as were LinkedIn, its parent company Microsoft and Microsoft subsidiaries.
