A project to update the existing Diploma of Translating, Diploma of Interpreting, Advanced Diploma of Translating and Advanced Diploma of Interpreting has been undertaken to ensure that they meet the current and future needs of the Language services industry.
Consultation on Draft 1 is now open and feedback is invited on the four updated draft qualifications, 45 updated draft Units of Competency and their associated Assessment Requirements and two newly developed Skill Sets.
A series of webinars will be held throughout April including an Auslan specific session with priority for registration being given to members of the Deaf community, Auslan interpreters, or RTOs delivering the qualifications in Auslan-English.
