After consideration of stakeholder feedback, draft Training Package materials for the Emergency Care project have been revised, including updates to five Units of Competency.
These draft materials address changes in industry practice, health regulatory requirements and the current COVID-19 pandemic.
A new Advanced Emergency Care Skill Set has been developed for a first responder who is required to provide advanced emergency care.
Additional changes have also been proposed, including changes in the composition of core and elective units and the deletion of two units.
The Public Safety Industry Reference Committee is seeking feedback to validate these draft materials to ensure the proposed products meet industry needs.

Feedback is required by Monday 11 April 2022.
