The Council of Australian Life Insurers (CALI) set to launch later this year, will focus on meeting the evolving needs and expectations of customers and supporting the ongoing development of the life insurance industry.
CALI will take over responsibility for the Life Insurance Code of Practice, previously under the remit of the Financial Services Council (FSC).
The new peak body will focus on lifting consumer standards in the industry, advocating for Australians to have access to affordable life insurance protection and seeking opportunities for the life insurance industry to further contribute to the community.
