Applications for funding are open for community-owned organisations to establish a Regional University Centre (RUC) in regional or remote Australia to support local access to university and other tertiary education and training.
RUCs help students in regional and remote areas access higher education without having to leave their community. They provide support and campus-style facilities for students who study courses locally delivered by distance from any Australian university or vocational education and training provider.
The Australian Government Department of Education, Skills and Employment (DESE) will be hosting a virtual briefing session on Thursday 3rd March 2022 at 2:30pm AEDT. To register your interest in attending this session please email regional@dese.gov.au
