New research has highlighted the vital role accountants and bookkeepers have played throughout COVID-19, with one in five SME owners saying their business would not have survived the pandemic without their support.
Accountants also fared well in the Ethics Index and were perceived as the most ethical professionals in the Finance and Banking sector with a net score of 35, slightly down from a score of 39 in 2020.
