Western Australia’s domestic economy has grown by 3.7% between June quarter 2022 and June quarter 2023, the highest domestic economic growth in the country according to the recent State Final Demand (SFD) data. During the June quarter 2023 there was a 0.8% increase in household spending and 4.2% in dwelling investment. This marks the 12th quarter to show growth in household spending since the June quarter 2020 of COVID and making it the third consecutive quarter seeing growth within dwelling investments in WA.
