Dr Myles Murphy, from Edith Cowan University, has received a total of $1.7 million in funding for his research that focuses on protecting Western Australian police recruits from injuries. As part of his research project, Dr Murphy will co-design and implement a sustainable injury prevention program for the WA Police Force. His research project aims to improve workforce health and reduce healthcare costs associated with injuries in the Police Force. Read more here.
