National Volunteer Week #nvw2022 takes place 16 to 22 May 2022 celebrating and acknowledging the generous contribution of the nation’s volunteers. It is an opportunity to say ‘thank you’ to over 5 million Australians including more than 520,000 Western Australian volunteers that contribute their time to help the community. Volunteers provided vital support during the recent floods, bushfires and the COVID-19 crisis.

This years theme #bettertogether acknowledges that volunteering brings people together, builds communities and creates a better society for everyone.

A number of resources is available for use leading up to and during National Volunteer Week. Resources include National Volunteer Week 2022 logos, certificates, thank you posters, social media tiles, and email banners plus a toolkit providing themes, ideas and resources to celebrate National Volunteer Week.
