Regional and remote communities from the Kimberley to the south coast are set to benefit from the latest round of Regional Traineeship Program grants.
Grants of up to $37,000 per trainee have been provided to 48 Community Resource Centres and eligible local government authorities to support vocational training and subsidise the cost of employing a trainee in regional areas.
The traineeships cover a range of vocations including events management, library and information services, information technology, accounting and bookkeeping, property services, business administration and applied digital services.
