The Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) has asked financial services providers to provide feedback on Commonwealth legislation regulating corporations and financial services.
The ALRC recently argued regulations for the sector are unnecessarily complex and tabled an interim report in Parliament detailing the complexity.
Submissions about the proposals and questions raised in the report can be put forward to the ALRC before 25 February 2022. Webinars, consultations and events will also be held this year to continue the consultation process.
