On behalf of the Public Safety Industry Reference Committee, its Technical Advisory Committee has updated two qualifications for the Fire project.
The imported HLT unit has been updated to HLTAID011 Provide first aid and moved from the core to the electives in the Certificate II and Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations).
Further information including draft documents and details of how to provide feedback can be found on the Project Page of the Australian Industry Standards website (Training Package Development and Consultation tab).
Feedback should be provided by close of business Wednesday 8 June 2022.
