The WA Government is investing $13 million on 21 on-Country projects as part of the Aboriginal Ranger Program. The program aims to help Aboriginal organisations manage country and protect the environment across the State, in partnership with the public and private sectors. Rangers in this program are trained to manage land and sea activities including biodiversity monitoring and research, traditional knowledge transfer and fire management to name a few. Read more here.
